The Communiqué on Determination of Default Interest Rate was published in the Official Gazette No. 02/01/2023-32061.
With the Communiqué, pursuant to Article 1530/1 of the TCC No. 6102, the interest rate to be applied in cases where the default interest rate for late payments made to the creditor in the supply of goods and services is not stipulated in the contract or where the relevant provisions are invalid has been determined as 11.75 percent per annum as of 01/01/2023, and the minimum amount of expenses that can be claimed for the collection of receivables has been determined as 800.00 Turkish Liras.
